COVENANT Tailoring Centre
The slum development centre has been provided with the facility of teaching tailoring course to young girls from the locality.
Properly developed syllabus are used for the course. A certified tailoring tutor has been appointed to teach the beneficiaries.
The slum development centre incharge makes door to door visit and explains the impact on pursuing this course. Young girls in every family are encouraged regularly to join the course.
Developing interests, many girls reach out to the centre and undergo the training enthusiastically.
Learning the course provides the girls with an alternative source of employment. As it is said that “self help is the best help”, the girls start to live their livelihood out of their own hard work.
